The Daikin Altherma M HW comes with an integrated storage tank of either 200 or 260 litres for domestic hot water, and is suitable for small houses or apartments. With a compact and modern design, it is ideal for homes where hot water is needed for up to three or four persons. Moreover, the white design makes it discreet and ideal for fitting in alongside other household appliances.
The Daikin Altherma M HW is an all-in-one exhaust air solution that has obtained an A+ energy label on all models, with features including energy use optimisation from photovoltaic solar, while one dedicated model also integrates solar thermal control.
The user interface has a very simple and intuitive display with a programmable digital interface with touch keys. To meet the widest range of needs, the Daikin Altherma M HW has five different operating modes, from eco to boost mode. Each of these modes uses energy differently depending on the needs of its users. While eco mode uses exclusively renewable energy, boost mode combines renewable energy with an additional electricity input. With this mode, as well as with the full electric mode, the temperature can rise above 75 C.
“With all its features, Daikin Altherma M HW can heat water for all types of needs,” said Patrick Crombez, heating and renewables manager at Daikin Europe. “The five operating modes make this heat pump a consistent choice to answer the domestic hot water needs of every family.
Moreover, features such as anti-legionella control, scheduled or off-peak operations and holiday mode make it the perfect heat pump if you don’t especially need or want to invest in space heating.”
